Have you ever wondered where... ideas come from? Why one person has one idea and another person has another? Why is it that one person can quickly come up with anything, while another person takes a lot of time and effort to come up with even one idea? And it can also happen like this: a person lived, thought up everything he needed, and then one day he needed an Idea. Maybe for work, maybe for something else. It doesn't matter. What matters is that it had to be an Idea with a capital letter. He needed an idea, and that was it. Silence. Ideas disappeared into the unknown, all of them. Even the inappropriate ones, the stupid ones, or the ones that had already been used. I'm not talking about the cases when instead of a suitable idea, everything else comes into my head.
Have you ever wondered why this happens? No? I'll let you in on a secret: it's all the work of the... Idea Master. He can come up with anything from what to have for breakfast or lunch today to the plot of some novel that will really become great.
And I'll tell you, it's a very responsible job, because such a master can never be wrong. And even with ideas for every day. Judge for yourself: a man wakes up, he's going to have breakfast, but he doesn't know what to cook.
- Macaroni, says the helpful master. And then the man realizes that there is no pasta in the house! None at all. None at all. That's why in such cases masters try to give several ideas at once. Something will fall into place.
But it's the little things. If a problem like "what to eat" or "how to dress" can be solved by tucking it in, then something more complicated, such as something related to work, sometimes cannot. Especially in cases when a question requires one specific answer.
Of course, there are a lot of such masters, because one with such a huge number of ideas simply can not cope with such a huge number of ideas. Besides, all people need different ideas.
Those idea makers who work with children, creative people and those who help people who work with children are the luckiest.
Some people have evil ideas and are helped by equally evil masters. But there are also different difficulties when a non-evil idea appears. For example, one master had an idea for a story. This idea, I tell you, was extremely strange. And the master couldn't figure out who to give it to. And the idea was always hovering around, and at all requests to calm down, as if screaming:
- I'll be spinning, I'll be spinning, I'll be spinning! I'm gonna spin, I'm gonna spin, I'm gonna spin, I'm gonna spin, I'm gonna spin! - and I'll keep on doing it till the middle of the night. I got it. Except that the mistress started to get the same idea. Only now she demanded that it should be realized - that is, that history should be written down. And when that was done... everything went quiet. Yes, yes, just like that. The idea quieted down as if it never existed. And the craftsman hopes that all the other ideas he'll be attaching to it will be calmer. And indeed, that was a terribly annoying idea. That's how things are in the world.
