Far away at the North Pole, where cold blizzards howl where people don't walk. In a hidden base lives Santa Claus and his helpers. They create toys for the good children. While the helpers are busy, the old man watches the children of the world through monitors. Someone tripped their friend, someone got in a fight, another bit someone. Grandpa started flipping through the screens, and suddenly stopped. On the screen a 12 year old boy picked up a bat and headed towards the store, swinging, hitting and glass clinking. The kid climbed into the opening that formed, a few minutes later he came out with a huge bag.
Santa smiled:
- We'll meet soon, my sweet bully. The old man picked up his notepad and wrote Jack Brown. Once again he went back to the monitor looking for bad kids.
At the same time in town, the Brown family was going out to dinner. Mother, father, son and daughter. The girl was setting the table briskly, the mother putting the finishing touches on the French fries. The father had just come home from work, and the boy was sitting in his room.
- Everyone to the table - the woman called loudly.
The family devoured their dinner with gusto, while Jack only looked at his portion, and then suddenly stood up and said: "Disgusting," and threw the plate of food in the trash.
- Jack, go to your room, you're not eating dinner tonight," his father shouted.
The kid only snickered and went to his room. Dinner was ruined. In the meantime, the son was eating stolen sweets and playing racing on the computer.
After the meal, the girl knocked on the door.
- Brother, can I come in?
- Come in, do you want to? - Jack said and threw a candy bar.
- Sis shook her head.
- Ellis, you're so right, it's infuriating.
- The girl bit her lip and ran off. She wanted to talk to someone, but her parents were busy and Jack was impossible to talk to. And no one would believe that there was a monster living under her bed. She quietly opened the door to her room, something hastily hid under her bed. Ellis looked around for protection, in her hand was a candy bar. She opened it and gingerly extended her hand: "Will you have some?"
All her body trembled with fear. The unknown man immediately snapped his teeth into the candy bar. The girl lit the lamp and could finally see him, a skinny, overgrown elf with sad blue eyes.
- Do you understand me? - The girl asked.
The stranger mumbled something. And then nodded.
- Are you trying to hurt me?
- Negative answer.
- Is there someone looking for you?
-nod.
- Who? - The girl asked, but then there was a knock on the front door and the elf hid under the bed.
- The girl ran downstairs it was the police, they came about the robbed store. The parents had to pay for all the damage done. And Jack didn't bother to come downstairs. The father went up to his son's room in a rage, shouting, noise, rumbling. The man came out with a computer.
- Yes, please- Jack shouted, and slammed the door shut, clicking the lock.
The parents began to ignore Jack, the boy silently taking his food. And Ellis chatted more and more with the elf.
December 31. Her parents and daughter were making salads and decorating the house, Jack had gone for a walk since morning. It wasn't until closer to nightfall that he came home and immediately shut himself in his room. Ellis yawned, Daddy smiled and said: "Go to bed little girl."
- No, I want to wait for Santa.
- Go, you can see the present tomorrow morning. And no one has seen Santa anyway.
- Her parents put her to bed, just as the door slammed behind them the girl jumped up, took a pen and wrote on her hand, Brother Jack. And fell asleep.
At this time Jack was playing on the computer, killing aliens. The clock struck twelve, someone coughed behind him. The boy turned around sharply: "What do you want, old man! Are you lost?"
Before him stood Santa Claus, a large old man in a red coat, with a long beard and an icy stare.
-"I've come for you, my sweet Jack.
The boy looked at him like he was crazy.
- All those who misbehave, I take with me to the north pole and they become my helpers. - The old man smiled.
- I'm calling an ambulance, they have a patient who has escaped.
- Fool, so you won't believe it until you see for yourself. Alright, let's get started - Grandpa said with a mysterious smile. He snapped his fingers and turned him into a red-haired elf in a green suit, with twisted boots and a cap.
The boy wanted to scream, but he got something unintelligible. He stared at the old man in horror.
-You better look at yourself in the mirror, it will make more sense.
Jack looked at his new appearance, clenched his fists, and lunged at Klaus. But his body froze, disobeying the boy.
- A helper cannot disobey Santa's orders, much less fight. Now we must go, my sweet bully.
At that moment, Ellis burst into the room. And hugged the boy.
- I won't give Jack away.
- How curious, I've definitely erased all memories of Jack, how on earth do you remember him. - The old man said and saw the writing on her hand. - Ha ha, you're so clever. But you couldn't have known about it yourself, so someone must have told you, I feel there is a fugitive hiding in the next room.
A snap of the fingers and an elf obediently came out of Ellis' room.
- Don't touch him- screamed the girl.
- You can only make one wish, think well who are you going to save!"
Ellis squirmed, Misha, the elf from her room, had told her of this outcome and the solution had been ready long ago, it just still hurt.
- Give Jack back his true form and don't take him away.
- Of course. The wish of such a good child is law to me. - The old man said and snapped his fingers. Jack's true form returned and Misha crumbled into dust.
The girl sobbed.
- Happy New Year, see you next year, my sweet bully.
