Just before its birth, before
the Big Bang, the universe was in a state considered to be the shortest possible period of time and called a singularity. It has now been hypothesized that this may be a new historical event whose date is close enough on a cosmic scale. The onset of the singularity may mark a new stage of
human evolution, and some scientists believe it is inevitable.
The history of man is full of important historical dates and is extremely long, but at the same time, compared to the history of the Universe and planet Earth, it is very short. Historical events determine the path of mankind in space and time, but on this straight, complex and infinite line man is still a beginner. Having a distant beginning, mankind still has an unknown end.
Nevertheless, in an incredibly intelligent way, man has managed to evolve in a short time. To the exploration of the solar system he went from walking bent over in an instant, if we consider this question from the scientific point of view of the development of
Universe. From year to year, the human desire to increase the already known space and learn new things grows. But, unfortunately, the harsh reality of facts limits him: he is often busy waging war on his own kind, making others suffer and accumulating power and resources in the hands of a few.
As the stars move farther away after the Big Bang, isn't it time to think about our future? Experts predict that humanity will not be the same once the singularity arrives. Much has changed over the past few decades and even years with the advent of computers,
internet and smartphones. But the ultimate revolution, the one that makes your heart beat faster and your eyes shine, happened when
artificial intelligence entered human life.
Some scientists claim to know exactly where humanity is headed. One of them, who remains among the brightest minds at Google, a pioneer in text-to-speech and image recognition, Raymond Kurzweil, has repeatedly guessed events and trends observed on the planet. His book The Singularity is Near has proven to be an accurate analysis of what is happening in the world of advances in science and technology and identifies the moment of singularity with great accuracy and power.
According to his forecast, by 2029 artificial intelligence will reach the level of human intelligence and then merge with it. And to exceed the limits of human intelligence, it is enough to make a machine and a human as one, which may happen in the nearest 2045. Who knows if he will be right....
