I used to be a YouTuber on YouTube, I wasn't very popular or anything, but I did make videos.
YouTube is a place where everyone can upload videos and share their content, but YouTube in my opinion has been going down hill because YouTube stopped monetizing my account because I need to reach this new goal, in order to have YouTube payments enabled, you must reach at least 1000 subscribers and they have to all be active on your channel.
YouTube used to be this fun place where you could upload videos and make money, now you have to meet the requirements of a typical YouTuber in order to start making money. It all started with google plus, google plus was the main reason YouTube started to change from YouTube to google tube, there is no more You in YouTube in my opinion, YouTube used to be great, now it's been rolling down the hill ever sense Google bought YouTube so it seems.
I started my YouTube account in 2007 but only started to post lot of videos in 2008. YouTube is no where near as fun as it used to be, the reason for that is google, yes Google bought YouTube and ruined YouTube in my opinion. I can't see YouTube up and running in the near future, I can see another better website taking over YouTube.
So what can we do so YouTube can have a future? Should we just sit back and let YouTube fall down the hill or should we take action and say enough is enough?
We'll have to just wait and see if someone is going to do something, we don't have any say in what YouTube does with their website sadly. Google plus started to take over YouTube in 2006 and reached it's peak around 2013 when they forced all YouTubers to change to the latest channel update which then removed all users background images the ability to change the color of your channel, it's looks and much more, which made a lot of YouTubers angry.
